Accounts Payable Specialist (Au Client-Clark)

Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. You will provide support to the finance team and wider business with Accounts Payable duties, supplier statement reconciliations, and data management. Additionally, you will be accountable for addressing inquiries and requests as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Management
• Monthly reconciliations for debtor/creditor accounts
• Support the finance team
• Ensure accuracy of invoice data
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting
• Process invoices in Xero/MYOB
• Reconcile creditor statements
• Reconcile aged creditors spreadsheet to Xero/MYOB files
• Invoice amendments and administration
• Invoice management - ensure approvals are obtained before due dates
• Some office administration
• Accounts administration

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Proactive, self-motivated, and organized
• Detail-oriented
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Previous experience with MYOB preferred
• Fast learner, hardworking, and open to feedback
• Willingness to transition to a compliance role in the future

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends
