Business Administrator – Major Projects & Construction
The role
An exciting 12-month contract opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrator to join our Major Projects & Construction (MPC) practice in Melbourne. In this role you will provide high level support to the Business Manager in the administration of the Victorian Government client accounts and assistance to the wider Melbourne MPC practice group.
Key responsibilities
In this varied and busy role, you will be responsible for:
  • the coordination and oversight of Victorian Government compliance reporting
  • assisting with the administration of the Victorian Government client portal and newsletters
  • the coordination of stakeholder meetings and assistance in driving various client initiatives
  • assisting with the coordination of the regular Melbourne MPC practice group meetings, lawyer training program and other practice group initiatives
  • managing incoming correspondence, emails and internal and external requests, as well as providing a proactive and efficient approach to producing draft correspondence without direction
  • assisting the broader MPC Practice Administrator team with over flow support as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral with strong attention to detail
  • Highly disciplined with ability to prioritise and manage a range of complex tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and have an innovative, flexible and adaptable approach
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills (including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
In addition to this, we're looking for an energetic, creative, resilient, self-starter. Someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to their clients
