Job Description: Cashier/Food Preparer Hybrid

Position Summary:

Join our team at Frank & Furter's as a Cashier/Food Preparer, where you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests while preparing delicious, high-quality food. This hybrid role requires a customer-focused individual with a passion for food service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

*Greet all customers warmly, providing excellent service and answering any menu-related questions. *Process orders accurately at the register or self-service kiosk and handle payments efficiently (cash, card, and digital). *Assist customers in customizing their orders and ensure special requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen.

Food Preparation:

*Assist in the assembly of signature hot dogs, burgers, and other menu items according to Frank & Furter's standards. *Handle fresh ingredients, toppings, and condiments with care to ensure presentation and taste are consistent. *Bag completed orders for dine-in or take-out, ensuring accuracy and presentation.

General Duties:

*Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cashier station, food prep area, and guest service counters. *Restock supplies such as packaging materials, condiments, and beverages as needed. *Support back-of-house staff during peak hours or as directed by management. *Uphold food safety standards by following company and health department guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

*Previous experience in customer service, food preparation, or a similar role is preferred but not required. *Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. *Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines. *Positive attitude and team player mindset.

Work Environment:

*Hybrid role involving customer-facing and food preparation tasks. *Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. *Physical requirements: standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in a warm environment.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $21.00/hour.
