Civil Construction Labourer

Here at Brycon, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various aspects of construction. This role involves working on diverse projects, utilizing a range of tools and equipment, and collaborating with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Pipe Laying is preferred.
• Loading, unloading and gathering of materials to perform tasks.
• Abide by companies’ corporate safety policies.
• Engage in concrete forming and masonry tasks as required.
• Use of small equipment such as pipe saw, drills and compactors.
• Shoveling, racking and levelling of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with power tools is essential; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Experience in concrete forming, masonry, caulking, construction painting work is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina: ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety on the job site.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
• Class 5 driver license required and Having personal transportation is an asset.
