Cyber Security Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cyber Security Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and policies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

2. Cloud Security: Lead cloud security initiatives, leveraging hands-on experience with cloud security management tools and technologies.

3. Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans to handle and mitigate cyber security incidents promptly.

4. Security Systems: Manage and configure security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, anti-virus software, and other security-related software and hardware.

5. SIEM and Security Technologies: Utilize SIEM technologies, endpoint protection response, IDS, and other security technologies to enhance security posture.

6. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to design and implement security solutions that meet business requirements.

7. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across key processes, ensuring resilience and efficiency.

8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and country-specific regulations, and MAS TRM guidelines.

Requirements:

- Strong experience in IT industry, with a focus on cyber security consulting, network security, and cloud security

- Strong knowledge of MAS TRM guidelines and regulatory standards

- Experience with cloud security management tools and technologies

- Proven expertise in incident response planning and management

- Familiarity with SIEM technologies, endpoint protection response, IDS, and other security technologies

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with business stakeholders and IT teams

Nice to Have:

- Experience working in a cloud security role

- Knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and country-specific regulations

- Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines and regulatory standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
