Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions.
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
• Manage patient records and medical documentation accurately.
• Take and record vital signs as needed.
• Support endodontic and pediatric procedures with appropriate techniques.
• Utilize Dentrix software for managing medical records and scheduling appointments.
• Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.

Skills

• Proficient in assisting with dental procedures, demonstrating strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Ability to take vital signs effectively and efficiently.
• Familiarity with endodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental management systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry principles to optimize workflow.
• Basic knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining patient records.
