Day to Day

Develop, deploy, and oversee employee relations strategies and programs to aid in a positive work environment.
Act as a credible advisor to executives, managers, and ER team on sensitive employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
Manage a global team that handles investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct, ensuring thoroughness, confidentiality, and legal compliance.
Analyze trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions to address systemic concerns.
Partner with the legal department to ensure policies and practices comply with applicable labor laws and regulations.
Partner with a broader team to design and deliver training for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, anti-discrimination policies, and workplace ethics.
Partner with HR and leadership to refine policies, procedures, and employee policies to reflect current best practices and organizational values.
Monitor and report on employee relations metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure program effectiveness.
Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and inclusivity throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

Exceptional conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and caring approach.
Excellent knowledge of global labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse collaborators, including executives and cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and social skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise way.
A strategic thinker with the ability to manage organizational priorities and employee well-being.
Experience designing and delivering impactful employee relations training programs.
A commitment to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the workplace.

Skills/Competencies

10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years focused on employee relations.
7+ years of experience leading a team of HR/ER professionals.
Expertise in employment laws and regulations, including [specify relevant laws, e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, etc.].
Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and handling sensitive employee issues.
Proficiency with HR systems and tools, including case management and data analytics platforms.

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 160,000 - 240,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
