A detailed Cover Letter that includes the following: A short summary of your relevant qualifications and executive leadership experience that prepares you for this director position along with a discussion of what you think is the most pressing sustainability trend or issue facing California in general, or San Mateo County specifically and what the County can do to prepare for it.

The examination process for this recruitment will consist of an Application Screening, and a multi-layered interview process. Applicants must successfully pass the Application Screening to move forward to the interview process. All applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed advancement through any subsequent phase of the examination.
