Venue Productions is seeking an Events & Office Administrator to join our team.
Venue productions has a warm and welcoming culture, with our senior management team contributing to the ongoing success in the events industry.
The key objectives of this role is to provide support to the director here in the conduct and management of all aspects of the business events administration.
Successful applicants for the role will possess the following key attributes:
- Manage and respond to event enquires from the website and direct emails
- Create and develop the content for event orders, this includes formulating quotes using our online rental system
- Design and create innovative styling concepts and other digital material as required for events and clients
- Assist in the ongoing development of the events by putting forward ideas which will enhance our client experience
- Any other activities required from time to time to enable the smooth operation of the business events activities
Key Skills required by the position are:
- Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in customer service and or handling events administration
- Time management and email management skills
- Extensive oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of computer literacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on occasion, some weekends
- Self-motivated "can do" attitude is a must
- Attention to detail and logical thinker
- Experience with working in a small business is preferred, with ability to see task through from beginning to end
Education/Qualifications desired:
- Qualification in Events/Hospitality or undertaking study within these areas is preferred but not required
- General office administration duties such as taking phone calls, replying to emails and generating quotes
Pay, perks and benefits:
- $50-$65k depending on your skills and experience + super.
