Irish Access Mats are a leading supplier in the Construction Civils and Event Hire Sector. Due to continued growth we are seeking a Senior Office Administrator.

As the Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business. Working alongside management you will be responsible for implementing the existing day to day business operations. You will also be capable of bringing your own experience to bear to develop and improve these operations in line with the existing business strategies.
This role is primarily advertised as a full time position but depending on a candidates suitability a part time option may be considered. Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience
Below is a flavour of the areas of responsibility the role will require
Administration
Oversight and implementation of Customer Sales Order Process from generation through to delivery and collection
Management of inventory in and out of the business.
Implement existing administration procedures and systems
Develop and Implement new procedures and processes to augment quality control and streamline company operations
Be a point of contact for customers and suppliers and liase by phone in a professional, positive manor
Company Fleet management
Oversight of HR elements, employee annual leave records, training etc
Financial
Sales Invoicing and receipt of payments
Account Receivables/ Credit Control
Manage Purchase invoices, receipts, company expenses
Oversight and Preparation of supplier invoices for payment
Procurement oversight
Preparation of accounts in advance of VAT return
Bank Reconciliation
Payroll
Business Support
Be commercially aware and capable of contributing to the business growth and development
Analyse and assess existing business processes to assist management implement operational and business growth strategies
Assist in implementing the company online sales strategy
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role. Minimum 5 yrs.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Have a confident, enthusiastic demeanor and the ability to manage customers diverse needs and expectations
Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and strong computer literacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have a proven ability in analysing ,processing and improving administration procedures and office based systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment.
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
Be experienced in computerised accounts. Xero accounts package experience advantagous
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Experience of the Construction Industry or Plant hire industry advantagous
Training will be given onsite but the successful candidate must be ready to hit the ground running. This is a results driven role and the right candidate, once trained in, can expect certain flexibility in terms of hours and remote working options.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: €19.00-€22.00 per hour
