General Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

2. CPA license or having any certifications relevant to the job is an advantage.

3. At least 1 (one) year of working experience in the related field or position.

4. 20 to 35.

5. Knowledgeable in government compliances with the BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF and LGUs, and with good written and oral communication skills, proficient in MS Excel and attentive to details.

6. Team player but can work independently with minimal supervision.

7. Has a good moral character and office etiquette.

8. Preferred Metro Manila residents.

9. Can start immediately.

Roles and Responsibilies:

1. Ensure timely filing and payment of all corporate monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and supporting schedules and alphalists/reliefs which include, among others, Value Added tax, withholding tax, Income tax, Final Tax, DST and other returns;

2. Coordinate renewal of business permits to liaison in charge;

3. Ensure compliance to BIR’s tax mapping requirements;

4. Review and monitor the timely issuance of BIR Form 2307.

5. File annual inventory list with the BIR;

7. Handle tax queries from clients, suppliers, and management regarding tax treatments.

8. Provide assistance in handling BIR examinations and other special projects.

9. Coordinate with Corporate Secretary for legal compliances, if needed.

10. Assist the Accounting Manager during annual audit of financial statements.

11. Any other tasks as needed in the future.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Shift system

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Makati City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
