General Construction Labourer

We are a growing software company based in Delta, BC, dedicated to developing innovative technology solutions. As we expand our physical office and server infrastructure, we are undertaking an internal construction and renovation project. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Construction Labourer to assist with this hands-on work. This is a unique opportunity to bring your construction skills to a technology-focused environment.

We are seeking a motivated General Construction Labourer to support our facilities team with various construction and renovation tasks at our Delta location. You will assist with demolition, material handling, site cleanup, and basic construction duties under the guidance of our project lead. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to be part of an exciting office transformation project.

Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition, including removing drywall, flooring, and fixtures.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate basic hand and power tools as directed.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Dispose of debris and waste materials properly.
• Perform general site cleanup at the end of each day.
• Support the facilities team with additional tasks as required.

Skills

• Previous experience in general construction, labour, or renovation work is an asset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Own transportation to and from job sites in Delta.
• Steel-toed boots and basic safety gear are required.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
