General Labourer

Job Overview
DDD Landscape and Contracting are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operational needs of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our work environment is efficient and productive.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or labour-intensive roles is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor setting is desirable.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
