General Operative Factory

Store Design is a bespoke Joinery manufacturing firm based in Tallaght, Dublin 24 with over 20 years of providing Shop furniture, Display Systems and Joinery to the retail and commercial interior sector.

ROLE:-
Due to the ever-increasing demand for our services there is now a need for a General Operative to join the close-knit team in Tallaght Dublin. This role will involve driving our Company vehicle, Wrapping and Packaging of furniture products, managing factory floor space and keeping it tidy.

RESPONSIBILITY:-
- Wrapping and Packaging of Furniture Products

- Collections and Deliveries from/to suppliers and sites

- Managing factory Floor Space

- Quality control checks on incoming deliveries

- Keep factory floor space tidy

- Stock pick and management

THE CANDIDATE:-
Must have experience to work in a factory environment.

KEY EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE:-

• Experience of working within a factory environment
• Competent with handling / Packing of Commercial furniture units
• Competent in understanding instructions correctly and applying

ESSENTIAL / ADVANTAGES:-

• Fluent English
• Valid manual handling certificate
• Driving Licence – Essential
• Forklift Driving Licence – Essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

• Commercial driving: 2 years (required)
• Forklift: 2 years (preferred)

• Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Certificate (preferred)
• Safepass Card (preferred)
• Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
