This position will be primarily on-site in Newark, CA, with up to 25% travel required.
What You’ll Do (Essential Job Functions):
- Provide strategic partnership for employee relations, talent management, and compliance to advance business goals.
- Advise on business initiatives to ensure alignment with operational excellence and HR compliance and best practice.
- Develop, lead, and implement policies and people services to maintain compliance with Local, State, and Federal employment laws.
- Lead site-specific talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Administer benefits plan, including appropriate recordkeeping.
- Develop and administer salary program, including appropriate analyses.
- Support and administer site-specific payroll and 401(k) activities.
- Ensure that HR compliance functions are planned and executed per legal deadlines and requirements.
- Conduct investigations, including serving as the organization’s representative at personnel-related hearings.
- Partner with leadership to engage in high-quality and consistent performance management, career planning, and compensation benchmarking.
- Support and administer the Total Rewards Philosophy.
- Develop and implement high-quality training programs to meet professional goals and requirements to further business needs.
- Track and report departmental metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards, including AS9100 requirements and client contracts.
- Serve employee base as an accessible point of contact for related needs.
- Foster and sustain culture through employee and leadership partnership.
- Other duties as assigned.

Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, business administration, psychology, or related field preferred.
- May be substituted with commensurate experience.
- Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirements.
- Ability to pass a drug screen per Vitesse System’s drug testing policy.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check per Vitesse System’s policy.

Job Information:
This is a full-time, permanent position. This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "Vitesse is Proud to Offer." This position is considered exempt and as such, is not eligible for overtime pay.
Pay range: $85,000-$125,000 based on qualifications and experience.
Vitesse Systems, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
