Summary
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong HR knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional employee support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- All aspects of the recruitment process including but not limited to maintaining job postings, liaison with managers regarding open positions, and reviewing all potential candidates.
- Complete employment verifications on potential new hires
- Prepare offer letters and work cooperatively with the Employee Relations Specialist
- Conduct onboarding process for new hires
- Ensure new hires have completed Paycom onboarding prior to first day
- Complete new hire checklist
- Ensure timely processing of E-Verify
- Maintain I-9 documents
Employee Management:
- Ensure Paycom is updated with all employee information
- Process Employee Status Change Requests
- Coordinate temporary staffing needs
- Maintain Employee List
- Review and approve Performance Discussions in Paycom
- Maintain Performance Discussion Feature in Paycom
- Complete employee termination checklist
- Maintain up-to-date job descriptions
- Assist managers with writing and developing job descriptions, as needed
Employee Relations:
- Manage Paycom “Ask Here”
- Assist with composing disciplinary actions and termination documentation while working cooperatively with the Employee Relations Specialist
- Translate and disseminate the CEO’s monthly videos
- Create and maintain announcements on communication TVs
- Conduct periodic pay rates and benefits review to confirm the company is competitive
Company Benefits:
- Administration of all company benefits (Medical, Dental, ADD, Life, 401k, Cobra)
- Administer PTO balances, as needed
- Review and ensure ACA compliance
- Complete annual census for medical insurance renewal
- Work with insurance company for annual medical, dental, ADD, and life renewals
- Work with Paycom for annual benefit enrollment
- Promote company benefit programs
- Work cooperatively with Employee Relations Specialist to plan annual benefit renewal meetings
Worker’s Compensation:
- File claim online
- Process chain of custody form online via Concentra
- Collect incident reports • Investigate incident/accident, if needed
- Manage workers’ compensation claims
- Maintain accurate file of all documentation and reporting for each workers’ compensation claim
- Keep manager’s up to date on employee status
- Assist controller with annual workers’ compensation audit
- Assist controller with annual workers' compensation insurance renewal
Employment Law and Compliance:
- HR legal liaison
- Update company policies, as needed
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Employee Handbook
- Maintain all confidential employee records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
HE Administration/Clerical:
- Review and approve all HR related invoices
- Provide management with HR reporting, such as turnover rates, benefit participation, etc.
- Complete employment verification requests
- Assist with Paycom scheduling feature
- Run weekly overtime report to be reviewed by controller
- Run scheduling reports and advise controller of any issues
- Assist controller with bi-weekly payroll processing
- Maintain various payroll reporting
- Assist with any other HR related projects and tasks, as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with HR management systems, a plus but not required
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience and creative with Canva and Microsoft Publisher, a plus but not required.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php300.00 - Php450.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
