Sr. IT Technical Writer
Bradlink LLC, a Technical servicing Firm located in Texas with client based relationships in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
We are seeking a senior IT Technical Writer to join our team in Dallas Texas. We offer competitive salary with company benefits; Health Insurance and PTO
This position will be working directly onsite with our Program/Project Management Team at the DFW Headquarters location.
The ideal candidate will have a ITIL or CPTC certification plus a strong background in information technology, excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user friendly documentation. You will collaborate with IT professionals, developers, and other stakeholders to create high-quality content that supports our products, services, and internal processes. Manage technical writing for complex technical projects for IT services requiring airport industry subject matter experts (SMEs) in areas for IT Technical Writing. This resource will be responsible for creating clear, detailed, and accurate technical documentation to support aviation-related IT systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing user understanding. The resource is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to information technology (IT) systems, software, hardware, and processes. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that technical information is conveyed clearly and effectively to various stakeholders, including IT professionals, end-users, and management.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation Development: Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, system specifications, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Develop IT process documentation and workflows for internal and external use.
- Document Creation: Create and update scopes of work, requests for proposals, request for bids, technical guides, capital funding requests, system documentation, and other technical documents as assigned.
- Research & Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical information and understand project requirements.
- Conduct interviews with customers, stakeholders, developers, engineers, and IT teams to ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that technical documents meet all relevant quality standards and that all deliverables meet the expectations of stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement standards, templates, and best practices for technical documentation.
