About the Role

You will be responsible for tasks like;

  • Making coffee, sandwiches, wraps,
  • Serving customers
  • Cashier
  • Keeping seating areas clean and tidy
  • Washing dishes using a commercial dishwasher

Be part of the national transformation in Health working at Waikato Hospital providing café services to health care workers, outpatients and hospital visitors.

About you

We are looking for people who are

  • Extremely reliable and with a great attendance record
  • The ability to work within a team
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Able to show care and empathy
  • The ability to work rostered shifts and duties between the hours of 6.00am & 8.30pm (no more than 8 hours per day). It may include weekends & public holidays. Your role/hours will be confirmed on offer.
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
