Mds Nurse - Lvn

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with MDS experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including medical offices, nursing homes, and hospice care. The LVN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive appropriate care and support during their treatment journey.

Schedule: 2-3 days per week

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform basic medical coding for billing purposes when necessary.
• Participate in emergency medicine protocols as required, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Assist with critical care procedures in various settings, including operating rooms (OR) when needed.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in a medical office, nursing home, or hospice care setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and critical care practices is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks, is desirable.
• Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
