Our client, a well-established construction group in Kitchener, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to oversee payroll processing, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction industry, ensuring accuracy in union and non-union payroll, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain compliance with WSIB, union agreements, and payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with audits.
• Support payroll reporting and analysis for leadership.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on employee compensation matters.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll experience, ideally in construction.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Sage, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of employment standards, payroll taxes, and union payroll requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
