About the role

This role involves leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring campaign excellence through strategic implementation and governance, and building strong client relationships by providing expert programmatic counsel. The position will champion operational efficiency by optimizing internal AI tools, fostering collaboration with industry partners, and driving regional alignment through global initiatives. As a key contributor to leadership discussions and the primary point of escalation for complex challenges, this role demands a results-oriented individual with a passion for innovation and client success.

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a team of programmatic specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
  • Implement campaign management strategies and governance frameworks to ensure the team delivers high-quality and accurate outcomes.
  • Optimize the use of internal AI tools, customizing workflows and configurations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Form and maintain long-term, trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Provide strategic counsel to client teams from a programmatic lens, leveraging deep understanding of their business objectives and challenges, and aligning them with the capabilities of programmatic capabilities
  • Lead wider learning agendas from an activation perspective
  • Work closely with industry partners to maximise value for clients
  • Share and enable global practices and initiatives within the region, liaising with global counterparts to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for APAC market leads, driving governance and operational hygiene across the region
  • Contribute to leadership discussions around the activation team
  • Serve as the point of escalation for complex issues and challenges, providing timely and effective solutions.

Desired background experience:

Required
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the media space with at least 5 years of leading teams
  • High attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers is key; You must be able to analyze raw data, draw insights and develop actionable recommendations as needed
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc)
  • Demonstrable interest in programmatic/ad/mar-tech
  • A passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of digital marketing/advertising industry trends
Desirable
  • Previous experience working on the programmatic/ad-tech buy-side (e.g. agency, trading desk, DSP company)
  • Proficiency planning and deploying campaigns using enterprise level DSPs (e.g. DV360, The Trade Desk, MediaMath)
  • Google stack experience
  • Familiarity with industry-relevant programming languages (e.g. HTML, Javascript, SQL, Python, R)
