The Opportunity
This is a compelling opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to become part of KPMG's Tax Transformation team, focusing on BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2, public CbCR, and other evolving tax regulations. As a forward-thinking transformation professional, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of tax compliance and strategy within a dynamic, technology-driven environment. You will be part of a rapidly growing team, working with major Nordic multinational clients and connecting with our global KPMG network, offering a great chance to expand your professional network.
Your main responsibility will be to engage with clients, managing and contributing to the implementation of innovative Pillar 2 technology solutions. You will analyze and enhance clients' compliance data collection and management processes to meet new reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects focused on implementing tax technology solutions, ensuring they align with BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 requirements and other evolving tax regulations.
- Conduct thorough analyses to identify gaps in clients' current data collection processes and help clients implement sustainable solutions to address data gaps.
- Support clients in the design of their target operating model for BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 compliance
- With your insights into compliance data create enhance tax data dictionaries, detailing data elements, their sources, uses, and interconnections across compliance processes
- Lead and contribute to new and ongoing innovation initiatives e.g. direct tax automation
- Build and nurture client relationships, offering expert consultancy and support on tax technology and data management issues.
- Support clients through the implementation of tax transformation processes, ensuring compliance and addressing complex tax challenges e.g. OECD Pillar 2, Public CbCR.
- Collaborate closely with clients’ finance and tax departments, as well as KPMG specialists, to understand regulations, defined data needs, address data gaps and implement analytics and automation solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- +5 years of hands-on experience within Tax Compliance, Tax Technology, Audit or other related consulting
- Passionate about driving digital transformation within finance and tax.
- Understanding of the OECD BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 regulation and guidelines and how they affect multinational companies.
- Adept at translating complex tax, data, and technology information into accessible language for presentations, training materials, and proposals.
- Solid understanding of accounting and consolidation processes at large multinational companies
- Strong project management abilities with a successful history of leading and delivering complex projects
- Curiosity and willingness to question existing processes.
- Strong coaching abilities to support the development of junior team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
