Do you thrive in an agile, data-informed, and collaborative environment, where design decisions are driven by research, experimentation, and continuous improvement? If you’re looking for an opportunity to shape impactful digital solutions and enhance member engagement, this role is for you!
About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Designer to play a critical role in designing, testing, and optimizing user experiences across our digital platforms. You will be responsible for applying human-centered design principles to ensure our products and services are accessible, seamless, and engaging for our members.
Working in a member-centric, data-informed, and agile environment, you will collaborate with product managers, service designers, educational designers, and developers to create meaningful digital interactions that enhance usability, efficiency, and overall experience.
As a UX Designer, you will:
Lead UX design initiatives, ensuring all digital experiences align with best practices in usability, accessibility (WCAG), and interaction design.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis, using insights to drive evidence-based design improvements.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs, using tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, and other industry-standard platforms.
Develop journey maps and personas, capturing user behaviours, motivations, and pain points to guide design solutions.
Test and experiment with UX methods, ensuring iterative design improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Innovation Team (service design, product management, and educational design), to co-design and test new ideas for product and service enhancements.
Work closely with IT, Digital Learning and Program teams, ensuring UX solutions are feasible, scalable, and seamlessly integrated into digital platforms.
Embed UX best practices into agile development workflows, ensuring continuous learning and iteration in digital product design.

Thrive in an agile environment, iterating and refining designs based on data, feedback, and emerging trends.
Be a confident communicator, able to translate complex UX concepts into actionable insights.
Balance creativity and technical expertise, delivering visually compelling, functional, and intuitive user experiences.
Collaborate effectively across teams, engaging with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to bring UX solutions to life.
What You’ll Bring
Our ways of working are member-centric, data-informed, and agile. You’ll bring these principles to life, ensuring that our digital products are designed for impact, accessibility, and continuous improvement.
Additionally, you’ll bring:
Minimum of five years' experience in UX design, including user research, rapid prototyping, and UI design.
Experience in digital product design, applying human-centered design methodologies.
Proficiency in UX and UI design tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, translating user needs into clear design strategies.
Experience in UX research and usability testing, ensuring designs are validated through evidence-based insights.
Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring products comply with WCAG standards.
Experience working with agile development teams, embedding UX best practices into iterative design workflows.
Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle or Blackboard (highly desirable).
