Warehouse Operator

Job Title: Warehouse OperatorDolan Foods, a reputable food distributor based in Lanesboro, Longford, is looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operator to join our team. As distributors of ice cream and frozen foods in the region and operators of a thriving food service business, we are committed to maintaining our strong reputation for quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations: Assist in the day-to-day operations of our frozen, chilled, and ambient storage facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of goods.
• Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for timely dispatch.
• Stock Management: Carry out stock checks, monitor inventory levels, and report any discrepancies.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling of food products.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, following company health and safety policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team and customer service team to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A forklift license (we can help you get one if you need one)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• A valid driving license is a plus but not required.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (day shift), ensuring a good work-life balance.
