About the role:
As the Winter and Recognised Internal Federations and Organisations Intern you will be supporting the team responsible for the relationships with Winter and Recognised International Federations and Organisations.

Your responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and preparation of activities with the relevant International Federations, such as institutional meetings, webinars and educational workshops, as well as the coordination of IF meetings and events at the Olympic House.
- Effective tracking of the Recognised IFs and Organisations activities, events and calendars.
- Compile information, prepare draft memos and assist with the presentations for Recognised IF meetings, including the support of the delivery of any reports and / or updates required by the IOC Sport department.
- Coordinate the Recognised IF Extranet and the internal SharePoint site, including the timely update of information, check the brand and logo visuals are accurate and other ad-hoc tasks, as needed.
- Assist in the IF Development Funding regarding the drafting of correspondence, collecting and filing development programme proposals and final report(s) analysis.
- Assist in the coordination of supporting documents linked to the IOC IF Recognition process and IF evaluation process, including administrative and support duties associated with the online IOC Recognition submission portal.
- Assist in the Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games delivery for the Unit and any ad-hoc projects/events for the IOC Sports department (e.g. SportAccord convention/IF Forum), as needed.
- Provide administrative support as assigned by the Associate Director, Winter & Recognised IF Relations and the Head of Recognised IFs/Orgs. (including expense reports, travel management, etc).
Our requirements
University degree or equivalent in education.
Fluent and ability to work in English, with French and other languages an advantage.
Good knowledge and command with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good knowledge of SharePoint and Smartsheet is an asset.
Experience in a national or international sport event or organisation is an asset.
Able to compile data and feature key information in presentable formats.
Ability to interact with sensitivity, efficiency and professionalism with all kinds of people, create a climate of trust and appreciate the needs and expectations of others.
Ability to deal with the unexpected, prioritise, and adapt positively to a changing environment.
High attention to detail.
Good sense of planning and organisation.
Ability to act independently and take initiative.
Respect the Olympic values and the internal rules of conduct and all instructions and procedures in place (i.e. Information Security, Code of Ethics, etc).
Ability to concisely put ideas or facts in writing.
Strong interest in sports and Olympism.
