310t Truck And Coach Technician

Archer Bulk Carriers Ltd are once again looking to expand our team!

We are seeking an experienced 310T Truck and Coach Technician who takes pride in their attention to detail, problem solving skills, and has a keen sense of responsibility regarding personal and public safety.

This position will involve performing preventative maintenance and general repairs on tractor and trailer units as well as inventory controls and the managing of repair-related paperwork. You will have an apprentice available to assist you in your work.

Responsibilities

● Diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers

● Identify, diagnose, and resolve tractor and trailer related issues.

● Diagnose and repair trailer components such as doors, floors and side panels.

● Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine technical repairs.

● Use different tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, screwdrivers, hoists and jacks, to repair trucks and trailers.

● Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions

Qualifications

● Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician’s Licence

● Valid G Driver’s Licence – Commercial Driver's Licence is also an asset.

● 1-3 years practical experience as Truck or Trailer Technician is preferred, but we will also consider candidates without experience.

● Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and written; ability to read and understand English

● Ability to maintain composure and react professionally during periods of stress.

● Demonstrate diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
