You Are:

A college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, who is interested in learning about Game Development, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and Coding.

The Opportunity:

• Understand the scope for project initiatives and analyze project requirements.

• Develop detailed use cases and scenarios.

• Learn the UST design process and contribute to the design of the project.

• Learn the technologies relevant to the project by acquiring knowledge and proficiency in required technologies and tools for asset creation within the Unity environment.

• Create high-quality assets for Unity projects, including 3D models, textures, animations, and audio.

• Optimize assets for performance and memory usage to ensure smooth execution on target platforms.

• Contribute to rigging and animating characters, objects, and environments to bring them to life within the Unity engine.

• Implement textures and materials to achieve desired visual effects and realism.

• Test and iterate on assets to ensure they meet the project's quality standards.

• Learn the application of technologies like IoT, Generative AI tasks to generate solutions.

• Work with the design and development team to tackle technical challenges related to asset integration, optimization, and generative AI, IoT tasks.

• Learn how to communicate with teams with good written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels at UST.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field who are in their final year, or second to final year before graduation

• Experience in programming at college using Java, C#, Python or other programming languages.

• Understanding of Unity, Three.JS, ReactJS or Babylon.

• Familiar with game development and demonstrable experience in it.

• Basic design experience in building experiences.

• Experience in developing algorithms, statistical models, worked on data structures.

• Nice to have AI and Machine Learning that can be demonstrated in prior ideas or projects.

• Ability to work on-site

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: California

Compensation Range: $20-$24 per hour

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
