Job Description:
**This is a 1 year temporary position with possibility of extension**
The Access Request Administrator is responsible for managing medical information requests to support the Canada and Quebec Pension plan disability application process. The team’s focus is to ensure that Sun Life Group Disability responds appropriately to all requests within service standards and legislative requirements. The Access Request Administrator is responsible for the review and preparation of the requested content to a high level of accuracy and completeness.
What will you do?
Process medical requests for the Canada or Quebec Pension Plan disability application process
Process Client specific access to medical information requests
Partner and communicate with other business units to ensure all requested information is provided
Initiate and manage the breach containment process in cases of privacy incidents
Remain current on Group Disability practices and the Access to File Requests guidelines
What do you need to succeed?
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required to answer requests from English and French speaking clients across Canada
Working knowledge of Group Benefits, Disability Management and/or Privacy legislation
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC, Word, Share Point, Outlook
Analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Attention to Detail - ability to review and process documents efficiently with a high level of accuracy

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
