Accommodation Linen Porter

Hotel Woodstock are recruiting a Linen Porter to join our Accommodation Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and distribute clean linen to designated areas within the establishment.
• Conduct regular quality checks to identify and report damaged or unusable linens.
• Monitor inventory levels of linens, towels, and related supplies to ensure adequate stock is available at all times.
• Maintain accurate stock records, including usage, returns, and wastage.
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers to place orders for linens and housekeeping supplies as required.
• Ensure timely delivery of ordered items, resolving any delivery issues.
• Assist the housekeeping team with linen-related requests, ensuring smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional linens or supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in linen storage areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to handling and storing linens.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding hygiene and sanitation.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, colleagues, and management.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for stock and cost control.
• Proficient use of IT
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of lifting and transporting linens.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
