Accountant (12+12 Months Contract)

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial closing, preparation of journals, audit schedules, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial results/management reports/annual financial statements
• Assist in analysis of financial results; preparation of forecasting and budgeting exercises
• Assist with audit and tax information preparation; liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and Corporate tax/GST filing/compliance
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assist with other ad-hoc assignments such as UAT and data migration verification as and when required
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance and/or Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in accounting, preferably in real estate industry
• Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting regulatory requirements
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik, Power BI system(s) and/or good real estate knowledge would have an added advantage
• Highly meticulous, analytical, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work independently
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of delivering high‑quality work under tight timelines
