Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage regulatory reporting requirements to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to maintain integrity in financial reporting.
• Utilize accounting software for efficient processing of financial data and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts related to private equity investments.
• Maintain accurate records of debits and credits for all transactions.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or a similar role within private equity is preferred.
• Candidate must be a self starter that can hit the ground running!
• Proficiency in Quick Books is required. (You will start in this system).
• Experience in NetSuite is highly preferred! (You will advance to this system in a few months of starting).
• Experience with rapid growing start- up companies is a plus!
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
