Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage both the day-to-day financial transactions and higher-level accounting functions of our company. This is a hybrid role combining bookkeeping accuracy with the strategic oversight of accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (sales, expenses, receipts, and payments).
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Issue invoices and follow up on collections.
• Manage ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
• Prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws and government reporting requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Support audits and provide documentation when needed.
• Recommend process improvements for financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience (2–5 years) in both accounting and bookkeeping. BPO accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
