Accountant

We currently have an opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Renton, WA! This role will be responsible for assisting with the activities of the overall general accounting function. Will oversee, implement, and maintain accounting systems, procedures, and policies. This position ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and acts as liaison between the company, government, and CPA auditors in providing required information and ensuring proper information is maintained.

This role pays $60,000-$80,000 a year. DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Assign and audit the work of the accounting staff to develop, implement and/or maintain one or a combination of generally accepted accounting systems
• Oversee basic accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, G/L, sales tax payments, cost accounting, commissions and inventory control)
• Monitor and review all records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transitions
• Serve as company liaison with auditors (annual financial audits)
• Perform all basic accounting procedures, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, inventory roll forwards, and fixed assets and margin analysis; prepare supporting schedules for financial statements preparation
• Review, analyze and reconcile general ledger transactions in conjunction with preparing reports for management
• Perform other duties as assigned
