Duties
- Cash reporting and forecasting
- Bank account reconciliations
- Reconcile and balance credit card accounts monthly
- Reconcile and monitor all loan balances - monthly and quarterly
- Oversee accounts receivable and collection functions
- All accounts payable and vendor maintenance functions
- Monthly floorplan company reconciliations
- Reconcile serialized inventory for purchases and sales.
- Monitor and manage pay-as- sold whole goods and parts payables.
- Purchase order report monitoring
- Fund and execute payroll account transfers
- Monthly and quarterly sales tax preparation and filing for three companies
- Highway Use Tax and Heavy Vehicle Tax preparation and submission for fleet vehicles
- Inventory controls and monitoring of retail location
- Monthly internal financial statements preparation in accounting systems
- Year-end tax work paper preparations for submission to CPA for on time filing of returns
- Administrative / office support when needed
- Work with other members of the staff to help provide effective, efficient, and enjoyable customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft or similar platforms; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques including cash flow analysis and account analysis.
- Experience with account reconciliation procedures for general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles along with experience in financial statement preparation and interpretation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective financial report writing and presentation of findings.
- Knowledge of floor plan financing is preferred, but not required.
Pay: $63,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
