Accountant/Bookkeeper
₱30.7k/month, FT Naga City, Philippines (Remote)
Shifts are Monday to Friday from 11pm-8am Philippine Time

Job Description: We are searching to place a hard-working accountant/bookkeeper who has excellent English and a strong understanding of bookkeeping with a local Phoenix, AZ HVAC/electrical contractor. An ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and be keen on ensuring 100% accuracy in their work. Will be responsible for bookkeeping in QuickBooks, receipt tracking, and helping manage the Client work system.

This position requires having a keen eye for detail and asking questions where necessary. In addition, this position is remote with minimal supervision, it is essential to have great time management abilities to hit deadlines. An ideal candidate will have QuickBooks Online experience, however, we are willing to train a new graduate who has a great work ethic and great English skills.

Monthly pay at this band starts at 30.7k PHP to start, depending on experience, annual bonus eligible, paid weekly on a 1-week delay.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Properly record day-to-day transactions following US GAAP principles for multiple Client files in either Quickbooks Online, Xero, or Freshbooks.

· Ability to closely monitor accounts & transactions asking supervisor any questions to ensure accurate booking.

· Monthly reconcile accounts against bank statements.

· Enter Journal entries as appropriate.

· Ability to be aware of time and length of time tasks take per file.

· Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

· Degree in Accounting or related field

· 3+ years general accounting experience

· 1+ year working with US Companies (preferred)

· Certified Public Accountant (preferred)

· QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor (preferred)

· High Attention to Detail

· Diligent Worker

· Impeccable English Speaking & Comprehension Skills

· Strong internet connection

· Willingness and desire to do the best possible job for Clients
