Accountant / Account Executive (Ap/Ar/Full Set)

Summary:

Job Scope:

Accountant (Full Set)

• Review of management reports from subsidiaries and prepare group consolidation.
• Review group cash flow forecast and subsidiaries cash flow forecast
• Review and be responsible for the timely submission of groups monthly/quarterly/annual management reports to head office and address queries from HQ.
• Review subsidiaries reporting schedules and identify areas for improvement
• Support subsidiaries in reporting requirements and internal HQ audits.
• Liaison with Head office and subsidiaries for items that require Internal / HQ approval
• Review and improve internal financial policies and procedures and align with HQ policies.
• Partner with operations team to support ad hoc projects.

Account Executive (AP/AR/GL)

• Accounting Data entry
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Account Payable & General Ledger
• To liase with supplier / forwarder for imports, shipments losses / survey & cost verification
• Assist in preparation and closing of management accounts reporting.
• Responsible for quarterly reports & GST submission
• Co-ordination and support of year end audits, tax filing and company secretarial matter.
• Communication to clients, brokers, insurers, auditors, and tax agents
• General office administration duties
• Process staff reimbursement and claim forms.
• Oversee the contracts and documentations of the operations.
• Liaise with customers, shipping agents & terminal operators.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate with NITEC or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software is a plus
