Accountant (East/ Sap/ Mnc/ Up To Sgd 7,000)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts.
• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support decision-making processes.
• Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare accurate reports.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
