Job Description and Duties
The California Conservation Corps (CCC) is a dynamic organization committed to developing young adults by challenging them through a year of service, conservation work, and personal, career and leadership development. The Accounting Team at the CCC has the job for you!
You can be part of the support team for these Corpsmembers as they maintain trails, retrofit buildings to save energy, and fight fires.
The Accountant 1 will perform the duties of the Cashiering Desk. Specific duties are outlined in the attached Duty Statement and include:
- Preparing the bank deposit
- Recording the bank deposit in the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal)
- Working with Accounts Receivable (AR) staff to ensure revenue is recorded accurately
- Assisting Accounts Payable (AP) staff by creating vouchers in FI$Cal

Working Conditions
Please Note: This position is classified as “In Office” and is not eligible for telework.
The regular in-office work location is CCC Headquarters (HQ) 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA. However:
- Due to ongoing renovations at HQ, the temporary in-office location is CCC Sacramento Center (570 Bercut Drive, Sacramento, CA).
- Once HQ renovations are complete, you will be notified and the in-office reporting location will revert to HQ (anticipated return is mid-July or later).

Salary Information
