Accountant ( Pdi Experience )

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a focus on Accounts Payable/Receivable to join our dynamic accounting team. Job responsibilities will be as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Review Accounts Payable vendor statements and invoices to confirm billing accuracy.
• Communicate with Accounts Payable vendors and Store Managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure credit is received for outstanding Accounts Payable vendor credit memos.
• Prepare Accounts Receivable customer statements and invoices.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable customer balances.
• Follow up on past due Accounts Receivable customer balances.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience.
• Possess a solid understanding of basic accounting practices and AP/AR principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience with importing/exporting files to/from ERP system is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
