Accounting And Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to lead the company’s overall finance and accounting operations.

This role is ideal for a senior finance leader with strong end-to-end accounting experience, preferably from logistics, freight forwarding, courier, shipping, warehousing, customs brokerage, trucking, supply chain, or a multi-entity group company.

The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, compliance, audit coordination, internal controls, payroll review, and finance team supervision while working closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall functions of the Finance and Accounting Department.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, compliance, and internal controls.
• Handle group accounting or multiple-entity accounting requirements.
• Monitor monthly financial results against budget and provide analysis to management.
• Manage treasury activities, including fund placements, remittances, disbursements, supplier payments, and company obligations.
• Coordinate financial audits and recommend process improvements.
• Review and verify payroll.
• Ensure timely compliance with BIR, SSS, SEC, DOLE, local government permits, taxes, licenses, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead, supervise, and monitor the performance of finance and accounting staff.
• Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with department heads and senior leaders on finance-related matters.
• Represent the company externally with auditors, government agencies, and other relevant parties.
• Perform other duties assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field.
• CPA and MBA
• At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Must have strong end-to-end finance and accounting exposure.
• Must have experience in group accounting, multiple-entity accounting, or handling finance for a group of companies.
• Strong experience in treasury, compliance, audit, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience supervising finance and accounting teams.
• Able to report and communicate effectively with VP/GM, President, owners, or Board-level stakeholders.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, courier, shipping, warehousing, customs brokerage, trucking, supply chain, or similar industries is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Setup

• Location: Manila
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday: On-call / work-from-home for urgent matters or meetings, if needed
