Accounting Manager

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing the accounting department, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage budgeting processes and provide financial forecasts to guide strategic planning.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.
• Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a productive work environment that encourages professional growth.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end close processes and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
• Proven experience in an accounting management role with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration across various departments and levels within the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,500.00-$78,000.00 per year
