Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financial reporting, strict compliance with government regulations (BIR, SEC, DOLE, LGU), effective tax management, and will provide financial analysis and business insights to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, inventory, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely closing of books and submission of management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Internal Controls & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, government regulations, and auditing requirements. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration Supervise, train, and mentor the accounting staff.
• Collaborate with operations and retail teams to ensure proper inventory costing, revenue recognition, and expense monitoring.
• Partner with management to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
• Retail-Specific Focus Monitor inventory movement, shrinkage, and costing to ensure accuracy of financial reports.
• Oversee point-of-sale (POS) reconciliations and ensure proper accounting of daily sales.
• Track and analyze store profitability and operational expenses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
• Experience in retail or Automotive industry preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP or Business Central) and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35,000.00 per month
