Accounting Specialist (Remote – Pst Schedule)

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting operations within BPO, outsourcing, or call center environments, with the ability to manage high-volume financial processes, payroll operations, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires advanced accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and expert-level Excel proficiency. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while supporting operations aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Schedule:

Must be available to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting and financial operations for a fast-paced BPO/call center environment
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, and operational reports
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations, account audits, and financial analysis
  • Process payroll and ensure accuracy of employee compensation records
  • Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or irregularities
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government reporting requirements, and internal financial procedures
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar accounting systems
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational cost analysis
  • Prepare audit documentation and coordinate with management during audits
  • Generate advanced Excel reports, trackers, and financial analysis for operational leadership
  • Work closely with operations and management teams to support business growth and financial efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping experience
  • Previous experience working in a BPO, outsourcing, or call center environment is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, payroll, reconciliations, and tax compliance
  • Advanced to expert-level Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar accounting platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Preferred Experience:

Candidates with previous experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Accounting Lead, Finance Supervisor, Payroll Specialist, or Financial Analyst within BPO or call center companies are highly encouraged to apply.

Experience handling payroll for large teams, operational reporting, audits, financial forecasting, and process improvement initiatives is considered a strong advantage.

Work Location: Remote

Pay: Up to Php370.00 per hour
