Swazzy, a dynamic and innovative Managed Service Provider, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our Swazzy AccountLink team. This role involves managing accounts receivables, processing invoices, reconciling financial records, and providing exceptional support to our clients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, have strong communication skills, and be committed to accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounts Receivables and Payables: Manage invoicing, receipts, and payments. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients to ensure timely collections. 2. Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency. Prepare and present financial reports to management. 3. Customer Communication: Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and accounts. Address and resolve discrepancies in a professional and efficient manner. 4. Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial data. 5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and workflows. Assist in implementing new accounting tools or systems as required. 6. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including Customer Service and Service Provisioning, to align on financial processes. --- Qualifications and Skills: Education: A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Experience: Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or a similar role. Familiarity with accounting software (experience with Zoho Books is advantageous). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Preston VIC 3072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Required)
Experience:
- Accounts payable: 1 year (Preferred)
- Accounts receivable: 1 year (Preferred)
