Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer

Introduction:
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable functions, including weekly EFT payment runs
• Create Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders
• Perform monthly credit card and bank reconciliations
• Update expense management policies and procedures
• Maintaining and improving expense management software (Concur) and processes
• Assist in the administration of funds raising processes
• Assist with audit requirements

Critical Success Factors:

• Solid experience in end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable management
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Good understanding of Goods & Services Taxation (GST)
• Superior attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• An ability to work in a team environment with a focus on meeting tight month end deadlines
• Integrity and honesty in all aspects of work

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Previous 2 years experience in a similar role
• Right to work in Australia
• Police check required
• Exposure to Concur Expense Management System highly regarded
