Accounts Payable Specialist

BCON - Dundalk based consulting business that specialises in providing Retail Management Services to the leading symbol brands within the convenience sector across Ireland. We are currently looking to recruit for the following position:

Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of Accounts Payable invoices in a fast-paced environment
• Generate regular supplier payment run
• Regular reconciling of supplier statements
• Assist in completing regular bank reconciliations
• Responding to all supplier and internal queries on a timely basis
• Any other ad-hoc support of Finance team as required

The Person

• Must be living in Ireland with the required employment permits
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Self-motivator and excellent team player
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Experience in dealing with large volumes of invoice posting and supplier reconciliations
• A relevant accounting qualification
• Have worked previously in retail environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience
