Your new job includes

  • Verify invoices by performing a three-way match between Purchase Order, Goods Receipt and Trade Invoice receipts including liaison with suppliers and other departments to resolve discrepancies in price and stock.
  • Encode, post invoices and process weekly payments for trade and non-trade invoices, including sending of Statement of Accounts and reminders, to ensure a seamless and timely payment process to Heinemann’s vendors and partners.
  • Handling Corporate credit card and staff claims.
  • Prepare month-end audit schedules and intercompany reconciliations based on the over-all schedule of the Finance team.
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecast reports to support analysis and decision making process.
  • Assist and support in all general accounting duties such as data extraction, report preparation, system testing, audit preparation and other tasks that supports efficiency and reliability of the Finance Team.

What you should bring along

  • a Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business or ACCA qualification with at least three years of practical experience in managing full set of accounts within the Retail or FMCG industry.
  • proficient in using Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook as well as SAP FI module.
  • a fast learner with a pronounced can-do attitude, complemented by the capability to multi-task and the flexibility to handle changing requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • a proactive, independent team player with a keen attention to details, high level of accuracy and ability to work within tight timeline.
  • a strong communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to engage with Team Members across all levels.
