As an Administrator for the School of Physiotherapy, you will join a team of professionals working across campus within Divisional Services and Administration.

In this role you will provide proactive teaching, timetabling and administrative support while becoming a trusted point of contact for a range of students, staff and visitors.

You will work alongside a team of five administrators and a supportive Operations Lead.

As part of the administration support team, key tasks include:
  • Using University systems to update databases, extract data, provide reports and other relevant data.
  • Administration and coordination of student placements. In particular, you will become proficient in the use of SONIA, the placement allocation system used for all student placements.
  • Providing teaching, timetabling and clinical placement coordination.
  • Processing student enquires including admission, enrolment, course related, and pastoral care enquires.
  • Providing administration support including document drafting, minute taking, and records management.
  • Assisting in the preparation of course materials and examination administration.
  • General administrative support to academic staff, the wider School and student enquiries.
  • Overseeing maintenance of student papers on the student learning management system.

Along with excellent administration skills, a strong customer service focus is critical to success in this role.

  • Have previous experience in a busy and/or complex administration environment.
  • Are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, particularly Excel and Teams.
  • Are able to be calm, adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy being busy and love problem solving.
  • Have a sense of humour and enjoy a positive and fun work environment.
  • Are flexible to provide support where and as needed.
  • Have a passion for delivering exceptional assistance to customers.

Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, confidential secretarial and administrative support services. This is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours) position, located in Dunedin.

The appointments range for this role is $59,285 to $63,651. Top of range $68,744.

You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position.
