Drive the AI program portfolio to success. Your role is to lead as a Change coordinator towards structural business improvements by AI development.
Make your mark for the innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) program at Boskalis and contribute at the forefront of strategically integrating AI into our operations to drive efficiency. Our AI Strategy program is designed to tackle business challenges within strategically defined themes on our assets, Dredging and Offshore vessels and our primary process, our tenders and projects
To drive this ambition, we are positioning an AI department on a corporate level. This new team will grow towards a team of 20 at the end of 2025. The department will be working on our AI portfolio created by our senior business leaders and validated by our Board of Management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI solutions that fulfil business needs
As Program Change Coordinator you’ll be leading and supporting the change process for AI initiatives. Working together with the AI Program manager, the AI Leads, the business product owners, end-clients and supporting departments. In this role, focus is on the personal and process change that teams go through when changing their way of working. Interpersonal skills are very important to execute this role successfully.
The department will be working on our AI portfolio created by our senior business leaders and validated by our Board of Management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI solutions that fulfill a business need.
This position will require both proven change management skills and the desire to understand our offshore operations and project execution. Your responsibilities as AI Program Change Coordinator:
- Guardrail the change process throughout the lifecycle of the AI development initiative.
- Designs, coordinates and executes change strategy and plan.
- Together with the program manager set-up and leverage a change ambassadors’ network needed for the success of the AI Program.
- Coordinate with the delivery leads on the interplay between change process and development process.
- Running/facilitating workshops and other interactive sessions to understand what is needed for successful adoption, both personal and process.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (also vessel related) to understand business/ end-client requirements and translate them into application requirements.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new change methods and methodologies in the AI field.
- Improve knowledge and best practices sharing throughout the AI delivery teams
- Support with the program management in general.
Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as AI Program Change Coordinator if you have:
- Higher Professional Education or Business/organization background;
- You can independently scope, plan, manage, execute and control your project. Deliver tangible results;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement projects or consultancy work;
- Affinity with the business of international contracting and project execution.
- A good command of written and spoken English.

- Your team: You will be part of the central AI department, mostly young and diverse teams of data engineers, software developers and AI engineers.
- Where you will work: For office-based roles, depending on your preference and project stage, you work partly at home and partly in the office in an attractive working environment.
- Full/part-time job: Depending on what you prefer the position is full-time (40) or part-time (32 hours a week)
