Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries seeks an Accounts Payable Analyst to manage a regional team that will work within a global team to help drive timely invoice processing and on-time vendor payments. The Accounts Payable Analyst will ensure that all processes and procedures comply with local audit and statutory requirements. This position will require you to interact and support other GF departments and regions and complete a variety of routine projects, assignments, and tasks. Apply, analyze and interpret procedures within functional area.
Essential Responsibilities:
Represent the APAC region as the main AP contact person for GF requesters, procurement, logistics, planners, etc., and external suppliers to resolve AP-related issues.
Actively review and monitor system accrual/GRIR, AP invoice aging (including credit notes), and blocked invoices to drive resolution of outstanding items.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing "UAT" for system upgrades, enhancements, and SAP implementation by partnering with the GF IT department
Actively monitor and manage activities of the BPO team regionally assigned and remediate non-compliance with SLA and KPIs.
Assist with reviewing AP procedures
To work within a global team to help drive timely invoice processing and on-time vendor payments
To Provide support to internal and external audit activity.
Perform all activities safely and responsibly and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed

Required Qualifications:
Education – Bachelor's in Accounting or other related field
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
At least five years’ experience in accounts payable
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of a global organization
Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Independently motivated with a process improvement mindset and strong analytical skills
